I wrote this poem just to brighten up your day
And to let you know how much I appreciate
All the things you do and all the things you say
I promise to never ever let your love go to waste
I see the scars on your soul from the struggle that you face
But even throughout the misery you break your neck to put a smile on my face
A woman like you deserves to be treated like a queen
If I ruled the world, I could show you what I mean
But I don't. Instead I let this poem do the talking
You and Grandma are the reasons why I keep walking
I try to do whatever I can just to keep a smile on your face
So this is dedicated to you both. Happy Mothers Day
